(CelebNMusic247-News) Philip Seymour Hoffman Recovering From Heroin Detox
Less than three weeks after checking out from rehab for heroin abuse, actor/director Philip Seymour Hoffman appears to be doing well without the drug.
A source revealed that the 45-year-old actor appeared onstage on Tuesday (June 11) at the 2013 Envision Awards in NYC and appeared very much his happy, healthy self.
The source revealed that Hoffman looked exuberant and at ease.

Seymour underwent 10 days of treatment last month after a brief, weeklong heroin relapse. Per the source, Hoffman recognized his downward spiral and “took care of it,” and by the end of May was “back to work.”
The Capote star, who had been clean for 23 years prior to his most recent struggle, reportedly began to battle addiction again a year ago by abusing prescription pills, which eventually led to snorting heroin.
We’re certainly glad to see that he got the help he needed and appears to be doing well.
