With Phaedra and Apollo being the newest couple to join the divorcee list Bravo brings in the numbers thanks to Phaedra and Apollo Divorce Boost RHOATL Ratings!

Things have NEVER been the same since Phaedra Parks and Apollo separated earlier this year. The rumors started swirling when she pulled a no show when his court appearances began in 2014.If you’ve been a RHOATL watcher then you may have noticed that Apollo was looking miserable in the scenes with Phaedra last season. She became bossy and he became somewhat quiet and distant in the home scenes. Then with the identity theft charged and fraud surfacing their marriage seemed to be strained, especially with the Kenya Moore drama despite Phaedra ready to giving Moore a taste of her fist to cuffs.

The more their relationship unravelled the more viewers started picking sides and patiently waited to see if they could overcome adversity. Well the obvious has become reality and the two are now divorcing, but the series has become the most anticipated series in the Housewives franchise.

Phaedra Parks is NOT the first Real Housewives of Atlanta to split with her husband, but her recent decision to divorce her husband Apollo Nida it helping RHOATL season 7.

Every single franchise of the Real Housewives has been effected by divorce since their inception.

E! Online reported in August that the overall percentage of Real Housewives divorces was 33.9. This figure was prior to Phaedra announcing her split from Apollo which now bumps the total percentage of Real Housewives divorces to 37.5.

With so many housewives getting divorces it makes many wonder if fame and notoriety is worth the deterioration of a marriage. We’ve witnessed in great detail several marriages break under the pressure of the Real Housewives bubble, while other marriages failed due to other strains and betrayals.

Many marriages have withstood the reality TV curse while other have crumbled. It’s a wait and see game to find out which marriages survive the Real Housewives and which don’t.
