For all you Harry Potter fans if your having Dumbledore withdrawl then you need to check out the new Percy Jackson film.
In the sequel to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, we find the demi-god trio facing a new challenge since Cronos is on a mission to kill all Demi-Gods. Percy and his team are force to face the Sea of Monster’s and once again, just like Harry Potter the trio are up against the world of Gods to save their kind.
Here is the synopsis:
In order to restore their dying safe haven, the son of Poseidon and his friends embark on a quest to the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece and to stop an ancient evil from rising.
The monsters look fantastic, and the vast world created in Rick Riordan‘s popular books seems to be coming to life on quite a grand scale.
Director Thor Freudenthal has got considerably less experience in this field than Lightning Thief‘s Chris Columbus, but that might not necessarily be a bad thing. If the trailer’s anything to go by, I’m a lot more excited for his fresher take on the Percy Jackson story than the previous film’s fantasy-by-numbers.

Our only worry about Percy Jackson: Sea of Monster is that its coming to the big screen on August 7th, 2013.
This is the month for the studios weakest films to get a chance at making some real money. We hope it works out since this summer is filled with mega-blockbusters like World War Z, Monsters University, Man of Steal, Fast & Furious 6, and the upcoming Pacific Rim that hits in July.
