CelebNMusic247.com reports that Paris Hilton is keeping her $2 million engagement ring from ex-fiancé, Chris Zylka.

During a stop by Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM show, Hilton got candid on the whereabouts of her ring.

Paris Hilton explains that the person who made the ring “got millions and millions of dollars of free publicity.” She adds that she loves how social media has become the new age advertiser for brands and so forth.

Hilton explains:

The person who we got it from got millions and millions of dollars of free publicity. I love how social media has basically become a new form of money. It’s pretty sick.

That is when McCarthy asked:

So you got to keep the ring?

Hilton replied:

Yes. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.

There you have it, the Hilton heires will be keeping the whopping 20-karat, $2 million pear-shaped sparkler that was so stunning, it warranted its own fleet of extra security to guard it.

Because she doesn’t need the money its more of a keepsake to remember, “hey I was engaged once.”

If you recall, she was so head over heels about the ring Paris carelessly lost the ring during a night dancing at the RC Cola Plant nightclub in Miami.

Luckily at the time, she found it in a bucket of ice and promptly made three replicas of it to wear when deejaying and “going to certain places.”

While Zylka is back to single, Hilton is focused on her career.

A source revealed:

She is traveling the world for her skincare and perfume. She wishes him all the best and hopes they can remain friends.
