Black Man With 34 Kids And 17 Baby Mamas AXED!!!
Another one bites the dust after TLC cancels 19 and Counting because Black Man With 34 Kids And 17 Baby Mamas AXED by OWN Network.
Oprah Winfrey Network PULLS THE PLUG on Jay Williams’ docu-series midway through production.
CelebNMusic247.com just got word via a statement from OWN, the network says that production has officially ended and they will not air the docu-series.
“OWN has decided not to move forward with the Jay Williams docu-series. The series aimed to follow Jay as he worked to put his life and fractured relationships in order and to hold him accountable every step of the way. The intention was to help Jay work to establish new connections with his family, his children and the mothers of his children. Production has ended and the series will not air.”
Sources close to the show tell theGrio.com that production for the docu-series wasn’t going in the way that the network hoped it would.
In March, the network announced news that a show centered around Williams was in the works and would feature and would feature spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant.
“On the heels of the highly-rated and controversial Iyanla: Fix My Life multi-part mega fix featuring Atlanta resident Jay Williams who says he fathered 34 children with 17 different women, OWN follows Jay as he works to put his life and relationships in order,” read the network description of the series.
OWN cameras planned to follow Jay as he worked to heal and establish new connections.
