Out top choice for best dressed on the carpet goes to Jennifer Lawrence, followed by Charlize Theron who always looks like she stepped out of the golden era of Hollywood.
Jennifer beat out Charlize this year by wearing a Dior Haute Couture dress, a Chopard jewels, aRoger Vivier clutch, and Brian Atwoodshoes.
Props go to all the ladies, from Jane Fonda to Zoe Saldanna for their amazing Oscar dresses. Other great mentions go to Kerry Washington, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Nicole Kidman, Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Chastain.

Charlize Theron is stunning in all white!
This year the new mom is presenting an award at the show, so it’s no surprise that she nailed her her look. The actress went for a white Christian Dior Couture dress, which she paired with Harry Winston jewelry.
48-year-old Sandra Bullock glittered in her sheer black Elie Saab Haute Couture gown, diamond earrings and bejeweled barrette — now that’s the A-lister we’ve come to know and love. Of course, while she was there, the actress made sure to chat up fellow Hollywood heavyweights like her “Forces Of Nature” co-star Ben Affleck.
Kerry Washington hit the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, she literally sparkled in a coral Miu Miu gown with a glittering top and a solid bottom. Catherine will be performing at the show this evening during the Musical Tribute singing All That Jazz from her Oscar winning film Chicago.
Halle Berry, 46, is presenting at tonight’s star studded award show! She rocked her custom made Versace dress that Donatella Versace design just for Halle herself.

Word is, Jane Fonda found the material in Europe and ask Donatella Versace if she could make her a custom design and walla…here it is! The two-time Academy Award winner will once again grace the Oscar stage during tonight’s live broadcast as a presenter.
Jessica Chastain rocked a gorgeous custom Armani Prive dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and Harry Winston jewels. “I chose it because I’m such a fan of movies. I love cinema so much and when I saw it],”Jes said of her dress choice.
