O.J. Simpson Prosecutor Chris Darden To Defend Pop Smoke Alleged Killer!
Last year, Darden announced that he would be defending Eric Holder, the alleged killer of West Coast rapper, Nipsey Hussle.
Once word got out about Chris Darden’s choice, and after some against his family, he walked away from the case.
Fast forward to 2020, Chris Darden, the former prosecutor who once tried to take down NFL legend, O.J. Simpson, is back in the news, but this time taking on the defense of the alleged killer of rap star Pop Smoke.
Chris Darden is too much, and apparently never gets the hint to stop defending killers. Read on…
CelebNMusic247.com reports that Chris Darden has signed on the defend the alleged killer of rap star Pop Smoke.
According to Chris Darden’s Facebook, he wrote:
After centuries of a history of black men hung from trees without trial, or after the thousands of cases of black men tried, convicted and executed without counsel … I cannot understand why in 2019 some people would deny a black man his 6th Amendment right to counsel of his choice.
Or why defending such a man should invite threats not only against me but against my children too.
Darden is the defense attorney for Corey Walker, one of Pop Smoke’s alleged killers, reports XXL.
Pop Smoke was shot and killed in an alleged home invasion in Hollywood Hills in the early hours of February 19. The investigation into his murder is ongoing.
