Noooo USA Network CANCELS Graceland!!!

Wow, some of our friends are about to be devastated about their favorite TV series Graceland because USA Network CANCELS Graceland after only 3 seasons on the network.

We are kind of upset, because CelebNMusic247.com just started getting into Graceland, but now the network has CANCELLED Graceland, just like their new series Complications last month.

Basically, the USA Network opted not to order a fourth season of the gritty drama. Both series hail from Fox 21 TV Studios and both were conceived by the creators of two of USA’s signature series, White Collar‘s Jeff Eastin (Graceland) and Burn Notice‘s Matt Nix (Complications).

Once Eastin got word of the news he tweeted:

CelebNMusic247.com has the details via Deadline:

Like Complications, Graceland was a modest ratings performer this summer, with Season 3 aveusa-networkraging 1.7 million viewers and 784,000 adults 18-49 in Live+7. Still, USA brass were said to like the show creatively and as of last month, the intention was to order a fourth season. But after discussions with Fox 21, the network ended up pulling the plug.

Similarly to the rationale behind USA’s decision to cancel Complications and to cut short the runs of both Burn Notice and White Collar, the network ultimately determined that the ratings did not justify keeping series that it doesn’t own on the air for financial reasons. There has been a shift towards owning or co-owning the majority of USA’s slate. Fox 21, once a leading supplier to USA, has one more series left at the cable network, the upcoming Queen Of The South.

USA’s drama pipeline also includes Colony, from UCP and Legendary. It recently ordered four drama pilots, all from UCP: Shooter, Paradise Pictures, Brooklyn Animal Control and Falling Water. Shooter is a co-production with Paramount TV, Brooklyn with IDW.

What do you think of Graceland being cancelled?
