Nicki Minaj Taking On More Movie Roles
Nicki Minaj was awesome in The Other Woman and now that she has proved herself as an actress she ready to transition into movies!
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Nicki Minaj has revealed that she is trying out for more acting roles after appearing in The Other Woman. Minaj plays the assistant to Cameron Diaz‘s lawyer character Carly, who discovers that her boyfriend isn’t just married but also having other affairs.
Minaj proved that even when a role may be small one can still shine and that is what she did in this film.
Minaj told MTV News:
“It gave me an idea as to what the world would be like being on a set and being on a trailer for hours. And now that I know it’s something I can do, I think I want to expand a role eventually.”
“I am going on auditions, and I’m trying to find the right role with the right director and the right writers. .
“I want to be part of something from the beginning stage this time, and I want the role to be custom-made for me.”
Nicki admits that she wants to take on small roles and grow as an actress. She adds that she doesn’t want to take on “humungous role right now” since she is getting ready to complete her new album.
