Nicki Minaj Stylist SLAPS Her with Lawsuit!
Nicki Minaj just got hit with a lawsuit by her former stylist Maher Jridi who claims that the Queen rapper never returned the clothes rented for stage and carpet. Read on to find out why Nicki Minaj Stylist is suing her…
CelebNMusic247.com reports that Maher Jridi claims he was a stylist for the rapper in 2017 and alleges he spent over $74,000 worth of clothes for numerous events and appearances.
Nicki Minaj Stylist Maher Jridi alleges the “Chun Li” rapper wore the clothes but never returned them and he now owes $74,000 after being sued over the missing items.
He is suing Nicki Minaj for the bill, according to TMZ.
PageSix reports:
The Queen rapper failed to return the expensive wardrobe items she had borrowed last year. Jridi claims he rented the pieces for thousands of dollars from a company called Cloak Wardrobe. Nicki reportedly took the designs to wear but neglected to give them back once she was done.
The complaint states Jridi, who dressed the rapper for Paris Fashion Week last year, is now on the hook for $13,000 to replace the gear. Jridi has reportedly made several attempts to resolve the issue out of court, but the stylist claims Nicki has ignored him.
This seems to be a big problem with tones of artists living out of their means. Just because you see them wearing Gucci, Prada, Fendi Versace and more doesn’t mean they own it.
Many of the clothes worn are rented and returned. This is why they wear it once, don’t be fooled. Some just try to front like they have more money.
