Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj started sharing a series of Instagram posts that teased some kind of release on Friday.
Nicki Minaj took to social media on Thursday night stream, Nicki confirmed Beam Me Up Scotty would finally be released on major streaming services.
She has added some fresh tracks to her mixtape “Beam Me Up Scotty” with three additional tracks. The songs include “Seeing Green” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.
The Queen also explained why she wanted to release this. She said its a tribute to get back to her roots and why she wanted to rap in the first place.
She also spoke on her Papa Bear, her baby. Nicki also revealed that her documentary and new album is on the way. The Queen of the Barbz, was very chill during her live session speaking to fans on why she took a hiatus. She said she was in mommy mode and was also dealing with some writer’s block.
Nicki Minaj Gets Drake on Live:
Drizzy joined the broadcast just minutes before midnight and explained why he had sent the song to Nicki.
He said:
It didn’t feel right, you not being on it …Nobody does this shit better than you … We miss your presence, we miss your bars.
Nicki says that Drake single-handedly got her out of her writer’s block and got her competitive self back.
