‘The Best Man’ was one of my absolute favorite movies. It probably had something to do with the fact that my celebrity crush, Morris Chestnut, was playing in the movie, but overall it was one of those great movies that you just love to watch when you’re in the mood for a good love story. r
The Best Man rumors are surfacing once again…but could it truly be true this time?
Streets is talking and CNM247 is hearing that the movie is centered around four college buddies (Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Terrence Howard, and Harold Perrineau) is coming back to the big screen with a sequel.
According to Nia Long the friends are coming back picking up the story thirteen years later. Nia Long sat down for an exclusive interview with Urban Daily where she spilled the tea on the upcoming sequel:
Nia reveals:
“Well, I’m getting ready to play Jordan Armstrong again. I start shooting the sequel to “The Best Man” soon. The working title is “The Best Man Christmas” it might change though. We start that in April so I’m excited to relive Jordan. She’s very feisty, very organized, and knows what she wants. She’s all about business. But I think you’re going to see her find her heart in the sequel. That’s her big challenge.”
What will happen and will things be cool with Harper and Lance?
Will Harper try and get with Jordan or is his life upside down?
Apparently, we’ll have to wait til Christmas when the movie hits theaters to see what happens.
