(CelebNMusic247 – News) New Green-Band Trailer for 22 JUMP STREET
The new power couple, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are back for another round of drug busts in 22 Jump Street the follow up comedy 21 Jump Street, and their heading to college.
Returning directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord spoke to Yahoo Movies this week on the phone from Puerto Rico where they are finishing up production on next summer’s sequel, “22 Jump Street.”
According to the directors they truly pushed Jonah Hill out of his comfort zone this time around while filming 22 Jump Street.
Phil Lord added this about Hill:
“We’ve had him hanging upside down off the side of an 18-wheeler.”
Chris Miller said:
“We’ve had him leaping onto a helicopter…driving a Lamborghini into a lobby of a hotel.”
Miller added:
“We’ve had him upside down or hanging or dangling or getting smacked around in just dozens of scenes.”
“There are a million things that happen to him in this thing, and he’s been a pretty good sport about it, I have to say.”
And Lord chimed in:
“He gets to do a lot more Channing Tatum-type stuff.”
As for the filming, Miller and Lord confirmed that there weren’t any accidents while shooting the stunts, but some feathers did get ruffled during one scene.
Lord revealed:
“There was a cockatiel that flew into Jonah’s hair and wouldn’t let go of it accidentally during once scene. That was pretty funny.”

Here’s the official synopsis for 22 Jump Street:
After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.
22 Jump Street hits theaters on Jun. 13, 2014.
