CelebnMusic247.com has learned that NBA Youngboy (real name Kentrell Gaulden) was allegedly arrested in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana while shooting a video, on Monday, Sept. 28th.

Here is what we’ve learned:

NBA Youngboy was booked by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office on 3 different drug charges; possession of schedule I drugs, manufacturing/distributing a schedule II drug, and manufacturing/distributing schedule IV drugs.

The rapper was released from jail last August after a shooting at Rolling Loud Miami festival in May. He and his team were outside of the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach when a gunman approached them in a black Cadillac Escalade and started shooting.

Reps for NBA Youngboy said they’re convinced he was the target and that they acted in self-defense when they began shooting back. Unfortunately, his then-girlfriend, Kay Marie, was injured and rushed to the hospital, and a 43-year-old man who was nearby was struck and killed when a bullet hit his car that was across the street.

Last week, Youngboy sat down for an interview with Elliott Wilson, where he expressed that he was not competing with rappers such as DaBaby, Lil Baby, and Roddy Ricch.

It ain’t none of that. You could never compete with a person. None of those people determine [what I do] or I determine where they gon’ go. What they make and all that sh*t don’t concern what’s going on over here and anything different. I don’t know what to say about that, but sh*t, no.

He added:

Everybody great at what they do, and it’s all different. We all different.
