Its was a moment to remember when Music royalty met with real royalty this weekend.

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Beyonce and Jay-Z met the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at The Lion King premiere in London’s Leicester Square on Sunday, 14 July.

Beyonce and Jay-Z arrived on the red carpet after Harry and Meghan. What was interesting is that the royals traditionally arrive last to any big event, somehow Bey and Jay walked first, but we would put it on it, being that she is in the film.

Anyways, social media ate up every second of it and the BeyHive was head over heels.

The Duchess warmly hugged both stars, breaking royal protocol. In case you are unaware, the public isn’t permitted to touch members of the royal family. Once again, Meghan did it her way and refused to miss an opportunity to embrace Beyoncé.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have shown their appreciation for the Duchess of Sussex before at the Brit Awards in February 2019. The couple wasn’t able to collect their award for Best International Group, so shared a video where they delivered a brief acceptance speech in front of a regal portrait of Meghan.

Meghan was said to be pleased with the homage. Her make-up artist Daniel Martin claimed that when he texted her about the video, she replied with a simple big eye emoji. – HarpersBazaar
