(CelebNMusic247-News) Rocko Removing Rick Ross Verse
After all the backlash hip hop rapper Rocko has admitted that he is thinking of taking Rick Ross’s controversial verse off of his hit track “U.O.E.N.O.”
Rick Ross date rape lyrics are tarnishing Rocko’s image and keeping him from going mainstream at this point.
Rocko revealed to Hot 97, to take the song to mainstream radio, he may have to remove Rozay’s lyrics.
Rocko explains:
“The record instantly became a smash over the All-Star Weekend and stuff like that. It just became a smash in the streets. So with me, I feel like I’m a street artist so I feel like the record with Ross that will always be the original record.”
“But because of the type of attraction the record has as far as like radio and all over the country and things of that nature it puts me in a position to where I have to change it.”
He adds:
“In life you have to put everything on the scale.”
“You know what I’m saying? If it’s not weighing up then you just have to do what you have to do. With all respect to the homie Ross…It’s crazy because it’s a Catch 22. Cause it’s like I don’t want to take him off…It doesn’t matter who I put on the song that’s gonna always be the original version of it. It’s not like I can do another verse and be like, ‘Okay, this the original right here.’”
This is probably the smartest thing Rocko can do at this point, because being attached to a verse the praises date rape is not a good look.
