TMZ reports:
The 22-year-old rapper Lil Uzi Vert was reportedly spotted by cops speeding the wrong way down a one-way street with a friend last Thursday. They allegedly drove on a sidewalk and raced across five lanes of traffic without using proper signalling.
The two men tried to evade authorities, but the Money Longer rapper lost his balance and had to dump his dirt bike and reportedly flee on foot.
Vert, born Symere Wood, was eventually caught by officers and taken into custody. He was booked for a number of counts, including obstruction. The charges include; reckless driving, and driving without a valid license.
He was released on $6,500 bail on Friday.
Vert has yet to comment on the incident, but he did post himself on Instagram riding the dirt bike before cops BUSTED his ass!
He wrote:
