We can’t say this enough, Post Malone is NOT hip hop, so we don’t understand why Post Malone CLAPS BACK Over XXL’s 2016 Freshman Class!!!
Flip and see what Post Malone is saying about being left out of the XXL’s 2016 Freshman Class…

CelebNMusic247.com caught wind of Post Malone complaining that he was NOT part of the XXL’s 2016 Freshman Class!
Post Malone penned an open letter to XXL’s Editor-In-Chief Vanessa Satten suggesting that he was invited to be part of the Freshman Class, but he didn’t feel like flying to New York to shoot the cover.
Post has now fired back at this characterization, saying that he is still very much a Hip Hop artist.
Here is what he said to to XXL’s Editor-In-Chief VSatten:

Post’s word didn’t go unnoticed and Vanessa Satten made sure to XXL’s Editor-In-Chief Vanessa Satten explains why the 20-year-old artist was no longer focused on.
Vanessa told the Breakfast Club:
“We were told by his camp that he wasn’t playing attention to hip hop so much.”
“He was going in more of a rock/pop/country direction.”

We find it interesting because we’ve heard NOTHING that would make us think he’s a hip hop artist. The only thing that is remotely close to hip hop is his hair, teeth and clothes. It’s almost like Malone was reading Riff Raff’s manual for white rappers, “How to look like hip hop, rap and perform while being white.”
Riff Raff is hip hop, he spits, sleeps, and breathes hip hop…Post Malone is just looks the part.

We understand why he was left out, but someone needs to explain why to Post.
What do you think about Post Malone? Do you feel his is a hip hop artist or a alternative artist?
