In January we told you that iLoveMakonnen bravely came out as gay on social media shocking many fans and fellow artist like Migos, The Atlanta rappers weighed in on iLoveMakonnen coming out in an recent interview and now their backtracking on their reaction!!!
Get the details on why Migos are apologizing to iLoveMakonnen for bravely came out as gay on social media…

CelebNMusic247.com understands that coming out to the world or an industry where being gay may close doors to an artist who is talented and gifted.
Then watching and knowing other artists who are still in the closet are at the top because the doors stayed open since no one is aware of their true sexuality. It’s a double edge sword and basically sucks. Some people can hide the sexual desires while others are stifled because it put a damper on their creativity, so coming out frees them to be REAL to them-self and to the people around them. You don’t know the struggle unless you live it!
iLoveMakonnen made the announcement of his sexuality on Twitter.

Migos did an interview with Rolling Stone magazine and are now realizing they opened their mouths and inserted their feet. Migos made some pretty insensitive comments regarding Makonnen’s sexual orientation.
Rolling Stone writer Jonah Weiner briefly detailed a moment in his candid interview with the rap trio. He mentioned Makonnen coming out, and that opened a door for “an awkward interlude.” Which was followed by Migos weighing in on fans supporting iLoveMakonnen coming out, by Takeoff saying:
“That’s because the world is fu**ed up. This world is not right.”
Then, Quavo asserted:
They have “nothing wrong with the gays,” though Quavo suggested that Makonnen’s outing “undermines” his credibility as an artist.
That was fu**ed up! The world may be a messed up place but with fellow artists bashing someones sexuality is hypocritical when there is a bunch of dirt going on behind the scenes with plenty of rappers behind closed doors.
Well, Migos are now backtracking on their remarks to Rolling Stone. The “T-Shirt” rappers have reached peak success and the rap trio are living the lavish life. Migos took to Twitter Wednesday (Feb. 8) to publish their thoughts on a Rolling Stone interview, back stepping on their remarks.
Migos had done a 360 and now are saying this about Makonnen coming out:
“We are all fan’s of Makonnens music and we wish he didn’t feel like he ever had to hide himself,” the statement reads. “We feel the world is fu**ed up that people feel like they have to hide and we’re asked to comment on someone’s sexuality.”

Thank you Migos, but a leopard never changes his spots. Quavo is the only one with a true look at Makonnen announcing he’s gay.
Thoughts?
