Entertainment is always about lateral moves for French Montana, because today French Montana says Goodbye Interscope Hello Epic Records!!!

Get the latest on French Montana on the flip…

Yes its true, CelebNMusic247.com has learned that French Montana is the newest member of the Epic Records family.

French Montana debuted some crispy new visuals for “Figure It Out” with Kanye West and Nas this morning, and along with a new video directed by Eif Rivera, he’s got an announcement (seen below):

“Figure It Out” is one of French Montana best songs to date, but we feel it has a lot to do with Kanye West and Nas being on the track. We also find it interesting that he is referencing Shyne in his lyrics.

Back to the subject matter, L.A. Reid revealed this morning on twitter that French is now with Epic Records– the label that has been snatching up rappers left and right lately.

Recently, Diddy and Bad Boy, DJ Khaled, and Rick Ross all signed with Epic and now French Montana has made the move as well. French was previously signed to Interscope.

Perhaps this move was part of the reason that Mac & Cheese has been delayed time and time again? We’ll have to wait and see if a new deal means a release date.

Now we want to make it clear that French is part of the Epic family but under Diddy’s Bad Boy label that he previously announced her was dissolving.  Diddy was obviously restructuring and working out a new deal for the home of Bad Boy. Bad Boy/Epic will now handle marketing, promotion and distribution for French’s releases.

Hopefully “Figure It Out” will be proof that Montana’s music will be better. His feel off after he signed to the label, because his Mac & Cheese 1 was dope.
