No actually, ex-Chris Brown and Rihanna had a moment of endearment during the at Thursday night’s Video Music Awards.
What fans thought was a kiss was just a harmless hug and peck on the lips, sorry to burst the gossip bubble.
The moment lasted seconds and then Rihanna, 24, left the stage at the Staples Centerin Los Angeles, after accepting the award for Video of the Year for her song “We Found Love.”
Footage verifying the lip lock prompted speculation there is truth to rumors about the couple’s rekindled romance, despite Brown’s relationship with model Karreuche Tran.
Recently, Rihanna called Brown, 23, “the love of her life” in an emotional interview with Oprah Winfrey revealed last month.
Rihanna said:
“We love each other and we probably always will, and that’s not anything that we’re going to try to change.”
