(CelebNMusic247-News) Big Sean Explains Casting Miley Cyrus
Big Sean explains his strange choice of casting Miley Cyrus in his “Fire” video.
The video premiered today, and although the song was positively received, it was greeted mostly with confusion on why Big Sean chose Miley for the video.
Here’s the drop:
Not only was Big Sean nowhere to be found in the visual, but the only human being featured in the clip was the increasingly inescapable enigma, Miley Cyrus.
The GOOD Music rapper has attempted to make sense of the visuals that have many scratching their heads, calling the project a “special video for a special song”.
In his extended explantion on Twitter, Sean described Miley as a “metaphor for strong women” and “being strong person after heartbreak.”
Big Sean Tweeted his explanation:
A special video for a special song. I got Miley Cyrus for this video because she’s somebody who’s had a personal evolution as a lot of us

have had. Besides all the personal stories I tell in the song, there are so many other ways people can make it through the fire. — Big Sean (@BigSean) August 2, 2013
i think Miley did a great job as a metaphor for strong women, being strong person after heartbreak (hence the burning pic that could — Big Sean (@BigSean) August 2, 2013
symbolize her old romance) , or maybe even deeper problems but in the end remaining as elegant as a rose. — Big Sean (@BigSean) August 2, 2013
It’s a cool visual that has a cool concept and meaning to it. Thanks to @MileyCyrus for being down everybody who helped make it happen! — Big Sean (@BigSean) August 2, 2013
Miley Cyrus thanked Big Sean on Twitter saying:
