Mrs Doubtfire Getting Sequel
Twenty years later, the comedy smash Mrs Doubtfire is said to be in development and Robin Williams has signed on to return as Mrs Euphegenia Doubtfire.
The 1993 comedy Mrs Doubtfire starred Robin Williams and a divorced husband trying win back his family by disguising himself as the Scottish nanny to take care of his children. The original film as Daniel Hillard.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned via The Wrap, that The Crazy Ones star, Robin Williams is reportedly ready to return to his role as Mrs Euphegenia Doubtfire, with Chris Columbus (Harry Potter) set to direct. While Elf writer David Berenbaum has been tapped to the write the script.
Mrs Doubtfire 2 will be overseen by studio heads Elizabeth Gabler and Marisa Paiva of Fox 2000.
In 1993, Mrs. Doubtfire earned an estimated $441 million at the box office upon its debut.
We hope that the film is great and not like Big Momma 3, wowee was that a disastrous film!
