(CelebNMusic247-News) Mob Wives Recap: Renee It’s A Set Up?
Last night’s Mob Wives everything was all good while Natalie, Alicia, Ang and Drita go pumpkin hunting for Halloween, but after Nat calls Renee things go sideways!
The women are scaring themselves silly in a haunted corn field. It’s all in a day’s work for Natalie since she works in a funeral home. Really it’s just a bunch of fake dead bodies sprawled around everywhere. You might say it was more tricks than treats on Mob Wives as friendships were tested and costumes were thrown by the wayside.
You never would think a simple phone call would escalate so much drama, but then you have to factor in Renee Graciano, who doesn’t trust anyone.
Here’s how it all went down:
During the Pumpkin patch shopping spree Natalie called Renee in front of the ladies simply inviting her to a Halloween Costume party at the her funeral home. Renee quickly blows it out of proportion thinking that everything is a set up and maybe one of the caskets has her name written all over it. When Renee tells her friend about it she tells Renee to simply call back and sy no thank you.
Does she do the right thing?
Nah, instead Renee does the BS move and texts back with a long-winded text that questions Drita and Big Ang‘s loyalty since the trip to Vegas was sometype of attack on her.
Does Renee forget she was the one who fell off the wagon and took things to another level. Reness was the fault of the whole Vegas disaster, but she see’s it otherwise. Renee claims that everyone needs to act like and adult, but she is the one who is acting like a immature child. We understand her questioning things being a set up, but if she just called she would have known Natalie was putting everything in the past and trying to start over with a clean slate with Graciano. She was just too foolish to know that, because she didn’t call.
Renee continues to BLAST Alicia for being fake since the get-go. Meanwhile, in Philly, Alicia is telling her side of the story to Natalie Guercio. Renee’s side of the story is much more dramatic than the actual event, but she tries to explain to Ang that there has always been something about Alicia she’s disliked. Doesn’t she understand that you don’t throw around the term “rat”? Ang hopes that Alicia can learn to filter through all the gossip she hears.
What else happens in this episode?
Well Renee takes her son A.J. for lunch, and she’s grilling him about his current relationship. She got engaged super quickly when she was twenty, but she hopes that her nineteen-year-old son will put on the brakes. A.J. tells Renee that he is thinking about moving in with his girlfriend. Um no. He’s not allowed to move out of Renee’s house. Renee then decides to fill in her son on her personal life, although he clearly doesn’t want to hear it. Can you blame him? She hopes she’s establishing him with enough of a financial cushion that he won’t turn to a life of crime. I think she could leave A.J. totally penniless and this kid will end up on top…the right way. I adore A.J.
While Drita continues to persue her rap career and when Method Man shows up to help her with her rhymes she freaks out. Drita is not half bad, she just needs to tighten her spit up a bit, but she’s close and Meth said he’ll be there to help her. It was really fun to watch Drita go bananas over Method Man. She jokes, “At least I played it cool when I met him.” Although, when she’s put to the test to perform in front of her idol, she does a better job. Method Man gives her some good constructive criticism…and Drita’s paper is shaking like a leaf. She’s thrilled to be getting mentored by Method Man. Drita’s dream is to wrap herself around the rapper’s head like a spider monkey. We love seeing Drita so happy…
As for Big Ang, she is still on a mission to have a baby no matter what it takes. She and Neil are seen at her Drunken Monkey bar in Staten Island chatting about having a baby. The two talk about getting a surrogate, while patrons eavesdropping on this conversation. Nothing like a personal conversation in public.
We finally circle back to Renee causing drama:
Renee is in shock to hear a voicemail from Natalie inviting her to the Halloween party. The invitation is so insincere. Renee doesn’t like her. She doesn’t feel welcome. Seriously? This drama that Renee concocts is exhausting. The nerve of Natalie calling to invite her to a party with “the girls” after Renee’s fake apology in Vegas! Renee isn’t falling into this trap…she’s too busy focusing on her therapy and journaling.
While Renee is coming up with conspiracy theories and ways to have herself erased, Natalie is putting the finishing touches on the funeral home decorations in Philly. Nat works it out dressed as Purgatory for Halloween in black lingerie, Victoria Secret wings and her booty all out. Delicious!
We found it funny how all the women questioned her look, but hey if you got the body, flaunt it! Drita comes dressed as one of the Bratz, Alicia is Wonder Woman and Anf anf Neil come as Zombies, which Drita comments, she whiches he man would accompany her, but he’s more on the “f**k that” type of ish. Meanwhile, Natalie shares a novel-length text from Renee regarding her party invitation, but Natalie doesn’t feel like reading the whole thing, so she ask Drita to read it and that is when Renee crosses the line once again and causes a bunch of unnessesarry drama for herself. Drita is appalled to read that Renee felt like Vegas was a “set-up” by all the other girls. Renee knew she planned to confront Natalie before the trip took place.
The ladies are trying to have fun, but once again Renee adds a dark cloud over the ladies having fun after Drita reveals Renee’s text message to Ang. Ang and Drita are offened and disgusted with Renee behavior, especially with the set-up accusation is insulting to Renee’s friends and their loyalty. Drita and Ang leave the party to bitch about Renee over Virginia Slims.
Why is Renee trying to alienate her two best friends?
The following day, the two women head to Renee’s house to clear the air. Drita questions Renee about whether she feels that her two best friends “set her up” in Vegas. As they confront her, all Renee can say is that she doesn’t feel comfortable around Natalie for the sake of her sobriety. Um, isn’t it a little late for that? Drita and Ang are prepared to take Renee’s reasoning at face value, but they are curious as to how Renee can say she never liked Alicia when she’s the one who claimed to love them and even introduced Drita and Renee to her in the beginning of the season. Renee shuts down the conversation, and Drita hates that she and Ang are stuck in the middle. I will say that Renee may want to think twice before inferring that Drita and Ang are good at being fake!
Renee is really acting up and next week looks to be worse for her and Natalie when they face off. Aren’t these the things people do before they land themselves a pair of cement booties?
Stay tuned…
