CelebnMusic247.com reports Miley Cyrus Cancels Paraguay show after her plane was forced to make an emergency landing while en route to Paraguay Tuesday. The aircraft was struck by lightning, according to a social media post from the singer.
Cyrus was in South America to headline the second day of Paraguay’s Asunciónico festival, which has not been held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Miley posted a snap of her plane’s wing with a hole in it where it was struck by lighting. She also posted video which would had have us crying while all that lighting was striking.
I hate flying in storms…too scary!
The “Wrecking Ball” singer wrote on Instagram:
Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting. My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay.
