Sources claim the police originally pulled Miguel over for speeding and driving around with tinted windows. However, officers noticed the singer reeked of alcohol, and Miguel was asked to perform a series of sobriety tests he ended up failing. He also took a breathalyzer and blew a .10 and a .11. The legal limit in California is .08.
The singer was then arrested for DUI and booked, but he was later released Thursday afternoon on a $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court this September.
