Michelle Monaghan Joins New Adam Sandler Comedy
Michelle Monaghan has signed on to star in Adam Sandler’s upcoming comedy Pixels, it has been reported.
Based on a Patrick Jean short film, the Sony movie will focus on a group of gamers recruited by the government to stop ’80s video games from attacking New York City.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned via Variety that Monaghan will be playing in the Christopher Columbus-directed film.
Michelle Monaghan will be joining Kevin James, Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad are already attached to star in the comedy. Adam Sandler is producing the film through his Happy Madison studio.
The actress most recently starred in the highly-lauded HBO crime drama True Detective.
She will next be seen opposite James Marsden in the Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Best of Me.
