Meryl Streep is a three-time Oscar winner and considered by critics to be the greatest living actress, but when it comes to politics she has something to say.
The “what if factor with Trump is scary and now Meryl Streep is weighing in. Read on to see why Meryl Streep is scared of Trump and “his possibility…”
CelebNMusic247.com reports that Meryl Streep discusses why Trump should be feared at Stephen Colbert Fundraiser.
Meryl told Colbert she thinks “we should be afraid” of “his possibility.”
Colbert asked Streep:
What’s it like for you to see somebody who is the President of the United States who is the top politician who is indifferent to the idea of empathy? I’m not sure he knows what you mean when you say it.
Streep delivered a sobering assessment of Trump in response saying:
I’m scared. I’m scared by him, by his possibility. And I do empathize with him. I can’t imagine what his 3 a.m. is like. There’s a gathering storm—everyone feels it, he feels it. His children are in jeopardy, and I feel that. I think, ‘What if my children were in jeopardy?’ I would do anything-anything-to get them out of trouble. So we should be afraid. That’s what I think.
On the lighter side of things, we have this awesome holiday song from Randy Rainbow, who literally mocks Trump in an oh so effortless way.
