Melissa and Joe Gorga have finally caught a break when it comes to their Montville Mansion and their unruly tenant.

Joe and Melissa Gorga have been trying to evict their tenant, Kai Patterson, from their Montville home for months, but they’ve been unsuccessful. the RHONJ couple claims the Kai has refused to pay rent for several months, which was set at $20,000 a month!

Well that is all about to change since a judge ruled in favor of the Gorgas!

On Wednesday a judge ruled in favor of the Gorgas, stating that Kai owes them at least $23,477 in rent and late fees. The judge also said he would enter a judgement of possession, which is the legal step before a landlord can obtain a warrant of removal after three business days to evict a tenant.

Joe was present at the trial and told a reporter at the Daily Record what he thought about Kai: “He’s a squatter, a deadbeat and I don’t want him to hurt another family,” Gorga said.

Kai’s still trying to hang on to the house though. After the hearing, Kai said that he plans to pay whatever he owes in order to avoid being evicted.

The Gorgas have said that they also want Kai evicted because they plan to move back into the Montville home.
