Meet The Redneck Ladies of Hot Grits!!!

Party Down South and Redneck Island have proven to be HUGE hits on CMT and now there is a new series called Hot Grits on VH1, so Meet The Redneck Ladies of Hot Grits.

Are you ready to get down and dirty with the new show Hot Grits coming to VH1? They’re Georgia Peaches, but these girls aren’t holding Peaches, they wrestling gators, getting down and dirty, because they’re Rednecks through and through.  This series follows 7 redneck ladies of Georgia – Bear, Emily, Hailey, Jenna, Ratchet, Sarah and Jennifer.

It was only a matter of time before a reality series had a chick named Ratchet…now we have to see if she lives up to the term Ratchet. LOL!

Meet the ladies of Hot Grits:

Bear is a badass. Model and drift racer by day, doting wife and party girl by night, she’s pretty much every guy’s dream girl. She likes to be the life of the party, she’s got her own problems at home – namely the fact that after two years of marriage, her husband, Lion, still hasn’t told his father that they got hitched!

Emily likes nice things. From having the newest car to drive to the hottest guy in town on her arm, Emily presents herself as high-class. She is really an ice queen who is afraid to get her hair wet and looks down her nose at the country grits. Life in Valdosta has also proved to be too small for Emily. So she’s setting her sites on the big city: Jacksonville.

Hailey is a foul-mouthed girl who enjoys modeling and partying. And while she is a small town girl, Hailey is anything but “country”. While she’s cool with almost all of the girls, it’s clear that Hailey and Sarah have a history, and it’s only a matter of time before their problems bubble up to the surface.

Jenna is just as comfortable out at the firing range as she is dressed up for a night out with the girls. Although she does her best to play nice with those around her, she’s got no problem mixing it up or talking trash if another girl gets in her way.

Ratchet is a true girl raised in the South. She loves fishing and getting her hands dirty. And when she’s not outside, you can find down at the local bar. Despite her reputation, though, Ratchet’s everybody’s best friend and manages to keep herself out of the girl drama all around her.

Sarah is a drama magnet – it seems that whenever one problem goes away another one starts. She gets off on making drama like kicking her ex out of her house, so you know what to expect of her. The only problem with Sarah is that her lively spirit and love for her friends is great but Sarah’s impulsive behavior and inability to think before speaking or acting make her ground-zero for drama among the other girls.

Jennifer is the mother hen of the group. Not only is she uppity, she holds herself above the petty problems and arguments of the other girls, she’s quick to insert herself into a situation if need be.

Jennifer’s pregnancy keeps her out from some of the crazier nights of partying but it also keeps her out-of-the-way of any feuds with the other girls.

Here is the synopsis of VH1’s newest reality TV series Hot Grits:

EMILY sees herself as the pride Valdosta. She likes to have the best of everything – whether it’s her hot boyfriend, JJ, or her prized Mercedes-Benz. But in Emily’s mind, the best thing for her would be a move to the big city of Jacksonville. BEAR’s love for drifting cars and catching gators may make her seem like one of the guys, but her racy pictures as a bikini model show she’s anything but. At least she’s got her husband, Lion, in her corner. RATCHET earned her nickname by showing up to a bar drunk and covered in fish guts. But this country girl likes to do more than just get her hands dirty; she’s also the best friend and confidant, and the peacekeeper of the group. JENNA was raised to hang with the boys when it comes to hunting and fishing, but this blonde bombshell has just as much fun hanging with her girls. Don’t cross her, though; she’s not afraid to speak her mind. SARAH’s personal life is, well, a mess. Between trying to get her ex-boyfriend and roommate, DeWayne, out of her life for good, and starting drama with half the girls in Valdosta, Sarah is never boring. HAILEY gets along with most of the girls but when she is wronged, you’re sure to know about it. JENNIFER is the mature, responsible one. She’s a wife and a mother and simply doesn’t have time to get swept up in other girls’ drama. But that doesn’t mean she won’t stick her nose into a situation if it means she can squash a feud between a couple grits.

Growing up in a small town has had a very big impact on these girls. While some of the ladies – like Ratchet and Jenna – have no plans to ever leave Valdosta, others like Emily, can’t wait to get out. Valdosta may be a blip on the map, but these girls do whatever it takes to have a good time. From days at the lake, to mixing it up at the local bar, to backyard ragers, there’s never a dull moment with these girls. They make the most of what this small town has to offer. These girls tackle relationships and drama the way no Southern belle could. From break-ups to breakdowns and everything in between, these ladies are full country!

Hot Grits premieres Wednesday, March 25th + 8/7c on VH1!
