It appears that Meek Mill has just learned the meaning of Kanye West’s “New Slaves” from the Yeezus album because he is sounding off that record labels and owners “preying” on the new gen artists.

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Philly rapper Meek Mill decided to share his thoughts about record labels and owners “preying” on the new generation of up and coming artists.
Meek Mill (real name Robert Williams), 31, has something to say about the way record labels and owners while trying to WARN the new generation of up and coming artists.
Mill sounded off on social media saying:
All records labels should start letting artists have ownership or you will be viewed as a slave master! Make it even for both sides the ones putting money up and the creator!!! Is even too much?
Why Meek Mill Calls Record Label Owners Slave Masters:
He went on to clarify that he is speaking for the young artists who are so thirsty they will take any deal because the labels “prey” on the hungry:
And I was speaking for the new artist the young 18-year-old kids that’s prolly in poverty that gets preyed on by big companies with offers for a small fee like a million dollars knowing they will make 50 million back off them and still not offering ownership.
He also goes on to state that if record labels and owners continue to take advantage of signing new artist unfairly they’ll be viewed as a slave master.
After Meek spoke #FACTS on social media he realized speaking to the GP was NOT a good look so he signed off on the discussion.

We get his point, but we are all slaves to some extent. Life is choice, but the one rule you NEVER say to anyone in life is, “I’ll do anything to make it.”
You never know what that entails or what you have to sacrifice to get your dream because some dreams have strings attached like record deals. There is always a catch.
