Newly added L.A. Clippers baller, Matt Barnes has cut a plea deal and in the process scored a big victory, because prosecutors rejected the felony, agreeing the case was nothing more than a low-level misdemeanor.

Wow, talk about lucky.

If you may recall, Barnes was arrested near a Manhattan Beach, CA restaurant in late July, where he had been dining with his wife, “Basketball Wives” star Gloria Govan.

Barnes outside the restaurant for 2 hours before placing him under arrest for driving with a suspended license.

But here is where it gets twisted and makes the LAPD look bad. Get this, Barnes and his wife Gloria were having dinner, while a Manhattan Beach cop literally waited for two hours so he could bust Barnes.

Welp, Matt and his Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan heard to his car and well, the rest is history, – the officers cited him for driving without a license, according to a source.
