Yes, it’s official, yours truly Mariah Carey has just ANNOUNCED that she will NOT be back at the “American Idol” judges’ table for a second season!
Here’s the drop:
Mariah’s PR people announced her exit … before further confirming rumors that ‘AI’ producers want to make a clean sweep for next season.
As we previously reported … ‘Idol’ is extremely interested in bringing back Jennifer Lopez to judge next season — and keeping Mariah and J.Lo would clearly be a bad fit.
For one it would be just too pricey to have both divas. Mariah and Randy Jackson are now officially NOT RETURNING!
Two down and two to go!
No word yet on Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, but rumors are already suggesting that Nicki will be focusing on her music and not returning as well.
