(CelebNMusic247-News) Margot Robbie Replaces Kristen Stewart
Margot Robbie has officially replaced Twilight/Snow White and the Huntsman star, Kristen Stewart to co-star opposite of Will Smith in his upcoming con artist comedy Focus.
According to reports, Warner Bros. found its replacement for Kristen Stewart, which Stewart told Huffington Post Entertainment in late 2012.
She said:
“It’s a comedy. I’m really excited about it.”
The film now will star Will Smith and Margot Robbie which was originally set to feature Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, then Ben Affleck and Kristen Stewart. In 2011, Robbie began starring as Laura Cameron in the ABC drama series Pan Am. Following Pan Am’s cancellation, Robbie has appeared in the feature films About Time and The Wolf of Wall Street. – See more at:
Why the change ups?
Affleck jumped ship to direct “Live By Night,” an adaptation of Dennis Lehane‘s crime novel. And as for Kristen, Variety report, the Twilight star left Focus because “the age difference between [her and Smith] would be too large a gap.”
Smith is 44 years old, while Stewart is just 23 years old. But let us point out that Robbie is also 23, so maybe it has to do with her acting skills and not the age thing, but who knows. Margot is a way better choice – Stewart and Smith just didn’t appeal to us, let alone seeing them onscreen with no chemistry was equals a big flop in our eyes.
Margot has more talent and charisma to do romantic comedy.
