(CelebNMusic247-News) Lil Boosie‘s Prison Term Could Ending Soon
Talk about hot off the press news, rapper Lil Boosie may be out of jail and a free man very soon, according to his lawyers!
Good news, Lil Boosie fans, because journalist Jeff Weiss, who’s been covering Lil Boosie‘s trial for Rolling Stone has just got word that the Louisiana rapper will be coming home in no more than five months’ time. Although no official date has been set, the approximation was officially announced by his attorneys.
To recap:
In 2011, Lil Boosie began serving an eight-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to drug charges stemming from an attempt to smuggle marijuana, ecstasy and codeine into jail. Later, in 2012, he was found not guilty in the first-degree murder of Terry Boyd, although the individual who Boosie allegedly hired to murder Boyd (17-year-old Michael “Marlo Mike” Louding) is still facing murder charges.
Boosie’s sentence may have been cut short due to his good behavior, seeing as he recently finished the prison’s GED program.
Here is Weiss’ tweeted on the status of Lil Boosie and his music below:
Just got word that judges have agreed to give back Boosie’s hard drives and computers. It means a whole lot of new Boosie music coming soon.
