Lena Dunham We Don’t Want See That!!!
Unlike Wendy Williams, we are not body shaming Lena Dunham but We Don’t Want See That! What happened to keeping your private moments private and personal?
The Girls creator and star, 29, is claiming that during a podcast with Re/code Decode twitter cyber bullied her off Twitter after she was shamed for her body pics.
Before CelebNMusic247.com goes into it, we want to clarify, nobody wants to see photos like this. It’s personal, Lena is that girl who see’s humor in something, but she is the only who gets the joke because the rest of the world is not laughing.
It also comes off like she is thirsty for attention, so if twitter slammed her, she deserved it. You don’t put pictures on twitter that people can trash.
Here is what Lena Dunham said about the body shaming backlash:
“I don’t look at Twitter anymore.”
“I tweet, but I do it through someone else… It truly wasn’t a safe space for me. I think even if you think you can separate yourself from the kind of verbal violence that’s being directed at you, that it creates some really kind of cancerous stuff inside you. Even if you think, ‘Oh I can read like 10 mentions that say I should be stoned to death.’ That’s verbal abuse.”
Here is the photo that ignited the backlash:

The HBO star admitted that she still mans her own Instagram account, calling it a “more positive community,” but explained that she had to take down one image of her wearing her boyfriend Jack Antonoff’s underwear because the comments became so intense.
She reveals:
“It wasn’t a graphic picture — I was wearing men’s boxers.”
“And it turned into the most rabid, disgusting debate about women’s bodies, and my Instagram page was somehow the hub for misogynists for the afternoon.”
Hopefully this will be a lesson to everyone. Remember photo albums of crazy pictures that you did and only you and some close friends know about. Lena needs to invest in a photo album and put photos like this there.
