The Keeping Up with the Kardashians matriarch has just filed legal documents to trademark the word “momager” and embracing a nickname that has stuck ever since her family’s rise to fame, she confirmed to PEOPLE.
If her filing is granted, she would have the right to sue anyone who uses the moniker without permission, the site explains.
The nickname is an apt description for Jenner, 59, who has managed her six children for years, shrewdly building an empire and keeping the public interested in the antics of her famous family, including helping daughter Kim Kardashian West to amass a reported $28 million in 2014, per The New York Times, which recently profiled the Hollywood power broker.
Smart move Kris.
In other Keeping Up With THe Kardashians news, momager, Kris Jenner took to her Instagram on Saturday, May 23, to share a glimpse of what her group text chain with Rob Kardashian and her other kids looks like on an average day.
The mother of six wrote, alongside a screen shot of multiple messages from her eldest children:
“Kendall’s texts are cut off at the top and Kylie is on a plane.”

In the exchange, Kris aimed her attention directly at her one and only son, writing: “Rob my boooooo.”
Kourtney and Khloe followed her lead and exchanged lovey-dovey messages, followed by a response from the notoriously private Arthur George sock designer himself.
He wrote to his sisters and mom:
“Love u all babies.”
