CelebNMusic247.com has learned that rapper Kodak Black has officially been charged for the 2016 rape of a teenaged girl in South Carolina, according to reports.

Despite being in the midst of his “Dying to Live Tour,” Kodak Black will have to return to South Carolina this summer or fall for the first trial date.

Kodak trial date be the beginning of a first-degree criminal sexual conduct case.

12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements said this of the proceedings:

We are slowly but steadily moving toward a disposition. I want to do justice for the victim – whatever that takes.

To recap the incident from three years ago:

After a Florence, South Carolina concert in February of 2016, police reports show that Kodak forced the victim onto a hotel bed, committing sexual battery while biting her neck and breasts. Reports also show that she repeatedly told him to stop.

Not to mention that her injuries were documented in a rape kit.

She didn’t immediately report to the police, she told a nurse at her high school, who took the information to school officers. The case eventually ended up in the hands of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

If you recall, Kodak Black was arrested in November of 2016.
