(CelebNMusic247-News) Kirstie Alley Denies Bashing Leah Remini

Last week Kings of Queens star Leah Remini announced via a statement (July 11) that she was leaving Scientology.

The 43-year-old Remini had been one of the Church’s most famous members for three decades and defended it publicly on numerous occasions.  She recently quit Scientology following years of what she called, “interrogations” and “thought modifications.”

Leah Remini has broken her silence after deciding to leave the Church of Scientology in a statement she released (July 11) thanking fans and the media for their support.

Leah said:

“I wish to share my sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming positive response I have received from the media, my colleagues, and from fans around the world. I am truly grateful and thankful for all your support.”

We feel that Leah has the right to make her own decisions, but unlike us, actress Kristie Alley does NOT have the same believes. Alley is a strong defender of Scientology and some of its high-profile members, since the religion and the support of fellow members helped to overcome her cocaine addiction.

Since then Kristie has been an active member in Scientology and it’s been reported that she was working the phones in the Hollywood Celebrity Centre when Leah announced her departure.

It has also been reported that the Centre held a meeting on how to approach Leah Remini’s defection.

Village Voice editor Tony Ortega (The Underground Bunker) claims Alley was “livid” with Remini for leaving.

Ortega revealed this intel about the Hollywood Celebrity Centre:

“A meeting was called for Alley and other celebrities to get a briefing from church executives about what was going on and what they planned to do about it.”

Here’s the drop according to KMBZ:

Remini claims her treatment was the result of casually asking Scientology leader David Miscavige about his wife, who hasn’t been seen in public since around 2007.  As her harsh treatment continued, Remini began to question Miscavige’s absolute power over the Church, further alienating her.

Ortega claimed tweets from Alley on July 10 referred to Remini.  One of the messages says (which has been removed):

“When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend… then I say f**k em..:) #RISE.”

She continued with:

Ortega asserts that Alley sent the message after attending a meeting at the home of longtime Scientologist Melinda Brownstone, a former friend of Remini’s until they had a falling out in 2008.

Alley denies Ortega’s accusations.  Now the Church of Scientology member Kristie Alley is denying she has any beef with Leah Remini and her announcement to leave the faith.

Then these remarks were posted on Alley’s Twitter confirming her anger and directing her tweet’s at the New York Post since they broke the story:

She tweeted:

What do you think of all this?
