Kid Cudi Calls Drake A Materistic Rapper
Is there a new hip hop feud brewing between Kid Cudi and Drake?
Kid Cudi recently weighed in on Drake and the content of his lyrics claiming they’re laced with materialism.
Cudi recently appeared on Arsenio Hall when he BLASTED Drake for only boasting about money, cars, and girls. See, Kid Cudi has long been known as an emotional lyricist who focuses more on his inner feelings than the opulence and flashiness of the hip-hop lifestyle.
CelebNMusic247.com has the dish on Kid Cudi and his feeling towards Drake. He says that the “braggadocio, ‘money, cash, hoes’ thing is dead,” which is the main thing that’s holding back hip-hop culture while on The Arsenio Hall Show.
While Kid Cudi explains how he has a much Deeper mission with his music saying, “All I wanted to do was help kids not feel alone, and stop kids from committing suicide. “That’s when Kid Cudi decided to lighten the mood by throwing Drizzy under the bus, saying that if he rapped about all of his possessions, “there would be no Drake.”
Ouch!
However, Cudi FIRES SHOTS at Drake saying that Drizzy is ONLY successful because he left the market open by rapping about emotions and suicide instead of Bentleys and strip clubs.
