Kevin Smith has just announced the long awaited third installment to the classic film Clerks!
Dubbed one of the funniest movies of all time, Clerks has already spawned a sequel, a cartoon series, and multiple comic books and launched the career of creator Kevin Smith!
Although Clerks 2 was lots of hype with our bite at the box office, Kevin feels the need to three-quel it!
Clerks 2, however, at least gave us a sense of closure for that crazy cast of characters, which Kevin is now in the works writing another movie.
Along with the screen shot of the title page, filmmaker Kevin also shared a sentimental message for fans on his Facebook page.
Which reads:
“THE BEGINNING OF THE END
20 years ago today, we started shooting CLERKS.
20 years later, with no plan or provocation, I jumped out of bed at 4:20 this morning and started writing CLERKS III.
It’s been like hanging out with old friends.
And after 2 hours of tapping the keys and giggling, I have come to a conclusion…CLERKS III will be the best film I’ll ever make.”
Wow…That’s cocky of him! Hope he’s right about that?
