Yes its true, CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Katy Perry Was A Backup Singer For P.O.D. back during the rock bands 2006 album Testify. Katy was seen in the video “Goodbye For Now” and then again when P.O.D.

It all makes sense that Katy Perry, mild-mannered Christian singer, linked up with a little-known gig with P.O.D. (Sonny Sandoval, Marcos Curiel, Noah Bernardo, Traa Daniels, Jason Truby, Gabe Portillo) Considering the Christian themes in the band’s music. It’s definitely weird but cool at the same time to see the pop queen paired up with the God metal dudes.
The band also appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno from that same year and Katy was there for their performance of “Goodbye For Now” (also at 3:27), watch:
