CelebnMusic247.com has received word that Katy Perry slipped right out of her AI chair during the filming of the episode.

Maybe dressing as a mermaid was NOT the best choice, however Katy still played it off like the fall was nothing.

Ryan Seacrest face while hosting the show was priceless when Katy hit the floor. Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie are seen laughing as Katy is stuck needing help since her mermaid tail is constricting.

However, Katy Perry is why American Idol is one of the highest viewed shows on modern television. Her fall makes for good TV especially with all the viewers ABC can really play this up in the commercials leading up to tonight’s episode.
