Kanye West loses control and goes off on Sway after he asks about launching his clothing line and “trying to empower [him]self”!
Earlier today, Kanye lost it when Sway asked him about his clothing line and why he couldn’t “empower himself” while on the Shade 45 this morning. Basically West and Calloway faced off on the air is a yelling match.
West was trying to force his point across like normal and Sway was trying to tell him its NOT that serious and to chillax!
Here’s the drop:
Kanye West is a passionate dude when it comes to his fashion and style venture that flatlined at the mere cost of $13 million. Usually Kanye’s interviews have mostly shown a less confrontational side of his persona, but Ye definitely TURNT IT UP on Sway this morning.
Yeezy stopped by Shade 45 today, and things were off to a good start until Sway asked the rapper why he couldn’t “empower himself” in terms of his fashion line, which set ‘Ye off.
Kanye repeatedly shouted:
“You ain’t got the answers!”
“You ain’t spent 13 million dollars of your own money trying to empower yourself!”
Sway was able to calm Yeezy down eventually, and continue the interview. Let’s not forget that while friends, these two have a pretty turbulent relationship, so an argument like this isn’t too out of the ordinary for them.
And in Kanye’s defense, his frustration seems reasonable after he mentions losing some of the $13 million of his own money he spent “trying to empower [him]self.”
