(CelebNMusic247-News) Judge Rules In Favor Of Chris Brown And Drake:
A New York judge has ruled in favor of Drake and Chris Brown in a lawsuit stemming from a brawl in a New York City nightclub last summer.
Here’s the drop:
The pair was being sued for $16 million by Entertainment Enterprises but the judge has ordered the lawsuit to be tossed from court today.
The lawsuit stems from an incident in June 2012 when an argument between Drake and Brown’s entourage devolved into an ugly, bottle-throwing brawl that wrecked W.i.P. nightclub in SoHo. Enterprise Entertainment – the parent company of Greenhouse, a nightclub adjacent to W.i.P. – claimed that the brawl had severely damaged their reputation and sought millions in compensation from money allegedly lost due to the brawl.
Drake and Brown happened to disagree and the judge took their side in this case, ruling that Drake and Chris had no obligation to behave in the club – particularly because the fight did not occur on the plaintiff’s premises – as fights can and will happen. Drake and Brown will not have to pay any money in accordance with the lawsuit.
