(CelebNMusic247-News) Joan Rivers Cracks Holocaust Joke:

Only Joan Rivers could get in trouble with the Anti-Defamation League for making a crack about a German’s backside.

The tart-tongued comedian sparked outrage for making a Holocaust joke in reference to the rear end of Teutonic temptress Heidi Klum in the booty-hugging gold dress she wore to the Oscars.

“The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens,” Rivers said on her dishy show Monday.

Then Rivers doubled over in laughter while her co-hosts on the E! Entertainmentnetwork’s Fashion Police looked uncertain how to react.

The remark infuriated the ADL, which called Rivers “vulgar and offensive to Jews and Holocaust survivors, and indeed to all Americans.”

“Of all people, Joan Rivers should know better,” said ADL honcho Abraham Foxman.

“We cannot believe it made it to the airwaves,” he added. “Making it worse, not one of her co-hosts made any effort to respond or to condemn this hideous statement, leaving it hanging out there and giving it added legitimacy through their silence.”

Foxman then demanded a formal apology and asked E! to yank the segment from future broadcasts. E! could not be reached for comment. Rivers, however, refused to apologize.

“My husband lost the majority of his family at Auschwitz, and I can assure you that I have always made it a point to remind people of the Holocaust through humor,” she said.

At least Rivers was polite. The last time Rivers ran afoul of the ADL for making a Nazi joke, she told the venerable organization to “shut the f— up.”
