Jerry Heller Weighs In On Ice Cube and “No Vaseline”!!!
Straight Outta Compton has given all involved a rebirth to the media to talk about N.W.A., but Jerry Heller Weighs In On Ice Cube and “No Vaseline”.
Heller, who tried to get his version of N.W.A. made back in 2006 – 2008 based on his book, “Ruthless” – the film was never made due to road blocks with the rights to the music for the film. [allegedly]
Now in an interesting interview with N.W.A.’s manager, Jerry Heller, he talks about how he is proud of Dr. Dre and Ice Cube’s success, but they are NOT friends. He goes on to say that he would NEVER have a sit down with Cube because of the song “No Vaseline,” which cut him deep.
CelebNMusic247.com has an interview from White Label Radio who sat down with Jerry Heller for an exclusive one-on-one interview about N.W.A., Ice Cube, why the group split, and Suge Knight.

He talks about how Eazy-E was fearless. Heller also talks about how Eric Wright was excited like he was about N.W.A. when he signed Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Heller talks about how there was nothing left for him at Ruthless Records after Eazy-E died. He also talks about how Thugs “Crossroads” should have been the 1st single, which would had made it bigger than Michael Jackson’s Thriller. He adds that he is NOT COOL with Bone Thugs since they continue to tell false stories that he killed Eazy-E.
Despite his differences with Bone Thugs, Heller is still cool with Bizzy Bone.
