(CelebNMusic247-News) Jenny McCarthy Heading To The View
It’s official Barbara Walters announced on The View that Jenny McCarthy will join Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
Jenny will be replacing the very opinionated Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who will be debuting on FOX in the fall. There has been no word on who will be replacing Joy Behar as of yet. We’re hoping it’s Brooke Shields.
Walters shared the news on the ABC talk show, noting how McCarthy is opinionated enough to begin the next chapter in The View history.
Walters said in a statement:
“We are delighted that Jenny will be joining us as a permanent cohost on The View starting in September.”
“Jenny brings us intelligence as well as warmth and humor. She can be serious and outrageous. She has connected with our audience and offers a fresh point of view. Jenny will be a great addition to the show as we usher in an exciting new chapter for The View.”
McCarthy has guest-hosted the show eight times and appeared on the program on 17 different occasions. She will be joining the show Sept. 9 at the start of the new season.
McCarthy said:
“I’m beyond thrilled to be joining Barbara and the other amazing women at the table.”
“I look forward to helping make hot topics a little bit hotter, and showing my mom that my interrupting skills have finally paid off.”
