CelebnMusic247.com reports that Jeezy says it’s hard to get his fiancé Jeannie Mai to slow down to recover, but, “she’s doing well.”
Jeezy wanted to thank everyone for the support and love regarding his future wife. Earlier this year Jeanie Mai went Instagram official about her relationship with her man Jeezy.
Jay Wayne Jenkins, 43, best known as Jeezy said:
I thank y’all for y’all prayers and y’all support. She’s doing well; she’s eating everything in the house. But she’s definitely doing well.
The Atlanta MC revealed that an abscess blocking her airway is what led to her emergency hospitalization and forced her to drop out of “Dancing with the Stars.”
He shared to the ladies of The REAL:
She began to get sick. She had some problems with her throat and we took her to the doctor and they gave her a shot of steroids and everything was good.
It happened again, and I just started to notice she was having problems breathing. She woke up one morning and got up before me and I got up and went behind her, and I saw her, and she couldn’t breathe. I grabbed her immediately, took her to the emergency room … they found something, but they didn’t know.
He went on to explain:
So we actually went to another doctor … The doctor immediately looked at her and told her, ‘You’re done with “Dancing with the Stars”; you’re done. This is life-threatening and if you don’t get it fixed right now, you could possibly lose your life.’
Mai, 41, addressed the illness herself via a taped video from her hospital room that was aired after her diagnosis.
Jeannie said:
I’m absolutely devastated that my journey on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ has to end this way. I found out that I have a throat abscess, where my tonsils and my throat had gotten so infected that it started permeating to the rest of the areas behind my neck and behind my ears, that I had to get emergency surgery which is why I’m here now.
