(CelebNMusic247-News) Jay-Z Releasing Rockabye Baby Album
Roc Nation leader, father of baby Blue Ivy’s and hip hop superstar Jay-Z has got a lot more kid-friendly.
Jay-Z is skewing toward a younger audience for his next album — a much younger audience. Like, Blue Ivy’s age. Rockabye Baby!
The upcoming set reimagines 12 of Jigga’s best-known tracks as baby-friendly tunes that will ease the little ones to sleep.
Here’s the drop:
Rockabye Baby! has re-worked several hit singles by the rapper into lullabies for toddlers. Songs like “Empire State of Mind,” “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)” and “Big Pimpin‘” will be featured on a new compilation album that is slated for a July 9 release.
There are also Jay-Z themed children’s games included as the liner notes for the album–which features the rapper’s songs backed with flutes and xylophones.
The rapper became a father in January 2012, so now his baby daughter can listen to her father’s music. Jay-Z joins The Beatles, Kanye West and Bob Marley as artists who’s hits have been re-imagined by Rockabye Baby!
Lullaby Renditions of Jay-Z will arrive on July 9.
Hooray! This is gonna be great!
